Old Town in Prague, Czech Republic

Old Town in Prague, Czech Republic

I went to Prague with my school friend recently. It was my first trip with her – so it was an exciting time planning and visit a city I had never been to before with an old friend. We stayed for three days and absolutely fell in love with the history, architecture and the old charm of the city. We had bought a guidebook for the city and just walked around the Old town for the first two days. Prague is a relatively small city (compared to London) so you can easily walk around to explore.

However, the old town area of Prague took my heart away. Every small/big street is so beautiful, enriched with history and just so pretty. As usual, I was carrying my camera around, so feel free to look at some pictures I have captured below.

On our second day, we walked around Old Town but our main agenda was to see the famous Charles Bridge which was breathtakingly beautiful. It makes you wonder about the engineering skills at that time!

The most interesting attraction in the Old Town is the Old Astronomical Clock which has also been rated as the #2 most disappointing tourist attraction in the world after the Mona Lisa. Judge for yourself!

I had a lovely time in Prague and would definitely recommend that as a place to visit with your friends cause it offers, culture, sights, fun and food.
