Hope that all of you had a amazing weekend!!
I had a really relaxing one this time around. Went for shopping on Saturday and saw Interstellar in the evening. These two things made the really grey and rainy Saturday enjoyable 🙂
Interstellar was really good. I would describe it more like an experience than just a movie. Christopher Nolan has set the bar too high for his science fiction movies after Inception and this one. If you have the vaguest interest in space, then you would like, if not love this film. I would definitely recommend watching this!
On Sunday, I was up early and feeling really peckish. I did not feel like trudging to the kitchen and whipping something up. A sudden idea popped in my mind, and I thought why not go to one of the few kitchens in London which is open round the clock. So, I called a taxi and headed to the Duck and Waffle. When you step into its separate entrance at Heron Tower, a glass door lift whisks you up to the 40th floor.
You reach before you can even count 10! Luckily, we were seated at a table which had an amzing view of the Gherkin and Canary w=Wharf in the past. It was really good experience watching the sun rise over the lOndon skyline.
The food was amazing…I had the vegetarian option in the full English breakfast. The eggs were so perfectly poached and I fell in love with their homemade nutella. so much so, that I ordered a second helping of the good stuff 😉
Have a great week ahead, y’all!
